All metal, the frame and pedal are cast from steel and boast friction-less bearing hinges for smooth pedal action, a weighted spine pedal plate and beater shaft locks to keep the beater firmly in place. Speaking of beaters, the Griffin Single Kick Drum Pedal comes with a quad (4 sided) beater which is easily adjusted using the included drum key. (You can never have too many drum keys.) The fully adjustable power cam system accelerates the beater speed, and the locking spring tension rod on these kick bass pedals maintains unchanging tension on the pedal. Don’t forget that these bass drum kick pedals also include force locking bass drum clamps to help keep the pedal connected to the bass drum at all times. It just doesn’t get any better.
