About The Material These Picks Are Made From:

Wooden plectrums have been used traditionally throughout the world since the dawn of stringed instruments millennia ago.

Haldu Wood is found natively in Southern Asia and Oceania, and belongs to the Rubiaceae family. Haldu Wood is known by many names in different regions such as Haldu, Kadam or Kadamba in India, Gáo Tròn in Vietnam, and Adina in the Phillipines, amongst others. Haldu Wood has a rich yellow hue to it, and typically features a straight, fine grain, smooth texture, and high luster. Although admired in Asia since ancient times, Haldu is becoming increasingly popular around the world in recent years. Haldu Wood has traditionally been used for a wide variety of purposes including decorative wood carvings, furniture, fine cabinetry, ornamental boxes, and more.
